Out of its constant concern for alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip, the Egyptian Red Crescent Society dispatched today, Sunday, a new humanitarian aid convoy, the largest since the launch of the “Zad Al-Ezza… From Egypt to Gaza” initiative.

The convoy consists of 423 trucks loaded with various relief, food, and medical supplies, with a total weight of 10,000 tons, as part of Egypt’s continued support for the people of the sector.

The Red Crescent stated in its official statement that this convoy, which bears the number 58 in the series of initiative convoys, includes large quantities of basic food items, including more than 300,000 food baskets, 540 tons of flour, in addition to 3,000 tons of essential medical and relief supplies. The convoy also includes about 1,800 tons of petroleum materials necessary to operate vital facilities in the sector.

The statement emphasized that this aid comes in the context of the tireless and continuous Egyptian efforts to provide aid and assistance to the people of Gaza, through constant and continuous coordination between the Egyptian authorities and humanitarian organizations operating on the ground.
