Israeli Army Announces Elimination of “Islamic Jihad” Activist in Gaza Despite Truce

The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, stated on his “X” platform account today, Saturday: “The Israeli army carried out a precise and targeted strike a short while ago in the Nuseirat area in the central Gaza Strip, targeting a member of the Islamic Jihad movement who was planning to carry out an imminent attack against Israeli army forces.”

Adraee added: “Forces of the army affiliated with the Southern Command continue their deployment in accordance with the terms of the ceasefire agreement, and will continue to work to remove any imminent danger.”

In a related context, Israeli “Channel 13” reported that “Israel assassinated an activist in the Islamic Jihad movement by targeting his car with an airstrike in the Nuseirat area.”

Al-Arabiya channel also reported that “an Israeli bombing targeted a car in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.”

In addition, Israeli artillery shelling targeted the eastern areas of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
